Reminder - our first General Meeting for the new 2024 season is being held on Tuesday 27 February 2024, 7.30pm in the Eva Redfern Room (Above Pitch 2) SOPHC.
We have a few things to cover on the night as you'll see in the Agenda - notably the ratification of our new Umpires Convenor and review/approval of proposal changes to the 2024 SWHL Conditions of Play.
Please bring your own copies of the attached documents as I will only have copies for the SWHL Executive.
If you are unable to make Tuesday's meeting please send me your apologies by 4pm Tuesday 27 February.
The SWHL Committee has reviewed the Conditions of Play, proposed change requests from clubs. The changes for club review and consideration have been marked up (tracked changes) in the attached draft of the 2024 Conditions of Play. Please come to the meeting having reviewed the draft document with your clubs and with a view on how you wish to vote in relation to the changes.
The greatest change comes from a submission by Western Districts and Glebe. Their proposed changes have been marked up as well and noted but I have also attached their actual submission paper for easier review. A lot of research, time and effort has gone into writing this paper so the SWHL Committee agreed that it's only fair that the authors, Clare Prideaux (Glebe) and Corrina Aitken (Western Districts) have the opportunity to explain their rationale for the changes and answer any questions club delegates have, before we make any decision/vote. Clare and Corrina have agreed to attend the meeting.
